Add coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 20 seconds  The heat will liquefy the coconut oil and help bond the ingredients to your hair

Add honey and avocado to the coconut oil  Mash the avocado with a fork and stir until smooth  (Some lumps are okay!)

Apply directly to dry hair starting at tips and making your way up to the roots  Leave in for at least 30 minutes (you can leave overnight too!) & wash out

This yields enough of the avocado hair mask for long hair, so if you have a shorter ‘do, you may want to half the recipe.

Water repels oil, so if your hair is wet, you will not see the results you want.
