Ingredients

  • 6 ounces espresso 6 oz = 3/4 cup
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup milk cows or unsweetened non-dairy
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar or simple syrup optional

Instructions

  • Prepare 6 ounces of espresso and set aside.

  • Add white chocolate chips and milk to a saucepan or small pot and continuously stir until chocolate chips are completely melted and integrated into the milk. Pour white chocolate milk into a heat-safe glass jar.
    ¼ cup white chocolate chips, ¾ cup milk
  • Once the espresso and white chocolate milk reach room temperature, place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to cool.
  • Add ice to a glass that holds at least 8 ounces. Pour espresso and white chocolate milk over ice. If adding sugar or simple syrup, add that now too.
    1 to 2 tablespoons sugar or simple syrup
  • Stir well and enjoy ice cold.

Notes

  • You can easily make your white chocolate milk ahead of time!
  • The amount of caffeine in this Iced White Chocolate Mocha is equivalent to a grande at Starbucks.
  • I do not recommend substituting coffee for espresso in this recipe, as the coffee flavor will be completely overpowered by the white chocolate milk.
