Instructions
Red Jello Layer

2 tablespoons red jello powder, ¼ cup boiling water
Pour hot water and jello mixture into the ice-cold vodka and stir until combined.
Pour red jello mixture into shot glasses, filling them almost halfway. Stick them in the freezer for about 30 minutes to solidify.
Blue Jello Layer
Measure out another 1/4 cup of vodka and stick it in the freezer to get cold.
¼ cup vodka
Once the red jello has solidified, bring 1/4 cup water to a boil. Once it's boiling, remove from heat and pour in blue jello powder. Whisk until completely dissolved.
2 tablespoons blue jello powder, ¼ cup boiling water
Pour hot water and jello mixture into the ice-cold vodka and stir until combined.
Pour blue jello mixture on top of the red jello, filling the shot glass almost to the top.
Place your shot glasses in the refrigerator to allow the jello to completely solidify—about 4 hours.
Add whipped cream on top and sprinkles (optional) for extra festive flair!
3 tablespoons whipped cream, 2 tablespoons red, white, and blue sprinkles
Notes
You can make up to 24 shots with two 3-ounce boxes of jello powder. If you're using the whole box of powder, you will need 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of ice-cold vodka.
