Great recipe! Thanks. I’m a guy and I’m not a good cook. It always feels like a struggle. This didn’t and it tastes great! You rock.

Preheat an oven to 350°F. Melt the butter on the stove or in the microwave by heating on high in 20-second intervals, and set aside to cool.
BREAD PUDDING
Cut your bread into cubes, about 1-inch long on each side, and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and your cooled melted butter. Fold in your cubed bread and stir to coat.
Transfer the bread mixture to a baking dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top starts to turn golden brown.
Add milk, cream, sugar, and cinnamon to a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves.
Bourbon Sauce
Add the cornstarch and whisk until there are no visible lumps. Continue to heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce starts to thicken.
Once your sauce thickens, remove it from heat and transfer it to a small bowl. Add bourbon and whisk until fully integrated.
Pour half the sauce on the top of the pudding while it is still hot, so it soaks up the sauce, adding moisture and flavor. Save the rest to serve with each slice.
Keep in mind the bourbon thins out the sauce, so heat the sauce until it’s just slightly thicker than your final desired consistency.
