Meatless Monday Challenge


Shrimp has a very distinct briny “seafood” taste with a chewy texture. As someone who lives on the Georgia coast, it’s one of my favorites and a staple in my pescatarian diet.

As an environmental scientist, I believe it’s important to understand the impact the food we eat has on our planet.

I’m very lucky to live in a coastal community where local shrimp can be easily sourced sustainably by small shrimpers during shrimping season.

However, if this option is not available to you, it’s best to seek domestic farmed shrimp.
