Peanut Butter

Compared to most other protein sources, the production of peanut crops produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions and requires less water. Plus, all parts of the crops are used, meaning none of it is wasted, and peanut crops themselves improve the soil.

Some things to look for when looking for sustainable peanut butter include glass packaging, organic and fair-trade labels, and check the ingredient label to make sure there’s no added palm oil.

Peanut butter adds tons of protein, flavor, and creamy texture to a variety of different recipes whether they are savory or sweet.
