This refreshing frozen peach margarita is the absolute perfect cocktail to cool off with this spring and summer! Whether you’re entertaining or you just want to prep a little extra to store in the freezer for later, this is the best batch margarita recipe!

Plus, this fruity margarita only requires 4 ingredients to make (or 5 if you’re adding Tajin to the rim, which is optional but highly recommended).

As an environmental scientist, I am always looking for fun ways to integrate seasonal ingredients. And nothing screams summer more than peaches!

As a Georgia peach myself, I love incorporating peaches into desserts like in this Peach Mango Pie and these Peach Cobbler Egg Rolls.

Green tip: Eating seasonally is one of my favorite ways to support local and decrease your carbon footprint. Local foods have less associated transportation costs and fuel emissions. Check when peaches are in season in your area with this Seasonal Food Guide.

Peach Margarita Ingredients & Substitutions

Here’s everything you need:

  • Frozen peaches. The easiest thing to do is buy frozen peaches, but you can also slice your own peaches (you’ll need about 6), discard the pit, and freeze the slices.
  • Blanco tequila. Reposado works in a pinch.
  • Lime juice. You should be able to get 3 ounces of lime juice from 3-4 limes.
  • Agave nectar. Or honey or simple syrup.
  • Tajin for rim. Optional.

How to Make a Batch of Frozen Peach Margaritas

Blend it Up

Add the frozen peaches, tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar to your blender and blend on high until smooth.

It’s truly that simple! The peaches in this unique margarita bring bold fruity flavor to up-level the classic frozen margarita.

How to Get a Perfect Tajin Rim

The tajin rim is optional, but if you want the ultimate margarita experience, it’s highly recommended! Alternatively, you can use salt! All you have to do is slice one of your limes in half and wet the rim of your glass with it.

Add the tajin to a plate, shallow bowl, or easiest of all— a cocktail rimmer. Then, just dredge the wet rim of your glass in the Tajin. It should easily stick.

I love using a coupe glass for this frozen marg, but a lowball glass is a close second.

How to Store Leftover Frozen Margarita with Peaches

This recipe makes about 4 cups of frozen margarita. Depending on how generous you are with your pour, this will make 2 – 4 strong cocktails!

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. The tequila will prevent them from freezing completely, keeping their slushy-like texture. They may need a few minutes to slightly thaw when you’re ready to enjoy!

Why this is the Best Peach Marg Recipe

  • The frozen peaches are key. Using frozen peaches gets you that thick slushy consistency without having to add ice, which dilutes the flavors.
  • Just the essentials. 4 ingredients is all you need to blend this up!
  • It’s perfectly balanced. The fruity flavor and sweetness from the peaches and agave nectar plays perfectly with the citrus from the lime juice.
